Any substitute to hazardous elements can not be considered blindly safe as it may contain the same constituents which were present in the original one. As far as cigarettes are concerned, these are not taken as safe and cigarette smoking is not welcomed by human body. The addiction to smoking can cause severe effects, causing serious diseases to which our body can’t resist.
There are enormous number of substitutes available in market as to slow down the pace of smoking and to succeed over smoking addiction. Smokeless cigarettes or electronic cigarettes are referred to as smokeless because these cigarette functions like a virtual ones and are made with view to make it feel like the original ones.
Smokeless cigarettes are combined of three parts and that are:
- Cartridge,
- Atomizer and
- A Battery.
These three parts are mostly common to all varieties of electronic cigarettes available in market. The side effects also run along with its benefits. This analysis revealed a variety of chemicals toxic to humans. Di-ethylene glycol, an ingredient used in antifreeze, was found in at least one smokeless cigarette brand. This chemical is known to produce coughing and dizziness when inhaled.
Nicotine Studies indicates that incorrect labeling on smokeless cigarettes may expose smokers to unexpected nicotine or higher levels of nicotine than advertised. Nicotine exposure leads to an addiction to cigarettes. Tar liberated while smoking a cigarette is a reason which increases the chance of developing lung cancer, emphysema and bronchial disorders.
Though nicotine is addictive in nature but the good thing about electronic cigarette is that it doesn’t produces tar which is something that attracts people to make a try.
